Gunung Jerai
Gunung Jerai (1206m) is the highest spot in the northern region of Peninsular Malaysia. The cool fresh mountain air is matched with the serenity surroundings. The peak is surrounded by myths and legends. It provides a spectacular view on the Straits of Malacca, and an important navigational reference point for ships from Middle East and Europe.
