Semenggoh Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre
Situated 30 minutes away from Kuching Sarawak by road is the Semenggoh Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre. It houses orang-utans that are injured, orphaned and sick. They are nursed back to health and encouraged to readapt themselves into the wilds.The 740 acres sanctuary also houses honey bears, storks, monkeys and the hornbill.
